The Caledonian Lodge No16

The opportunity will be taken to present 50 year badges to W.Bro W.J.Adams RH Bro R.M.Webster In addition to the above the presentation of a donation to the Lymphoma; blood Cancer New Zealand of funds raised from the Bike ride undertaken by W.Bro J.F.Smithies who rode an old bike from Cape Reinga to Bluff.

The funds raised have been boosted by the Grand lodge Charity on a one for one making the total up to $8800-00.

Special acknowledgement to the Caledonian Lodge No16,The Mackenzie Lodge No93 The Winchester lodge No 1137 and the Kurow Lodge No164 all of which made substantial contributions.

 Lodge Koranga

Will hold its annual ANZAC Service

All Lodges are invited to attend and participate.

The meeting is a public one and, therefore, open to brethren, wives, partners, family and friends.

The service will commence at 7.30pm and include a poppy laying ceremony to which everyone is invited to take part in.

Medals may be worn, those of relatives on the right breast. The dress is formal

Masters night, all charges and Officers will be sitting masters of Christchurch Lodges. All 3 constitutions will be represented and will be working together.

The meeting will be a memorial celebration about the life our Master W.Bro. John Gibson who ceased labour on the 16th May after a short battle with lung cancer. As there will be no funeral service Lodge Brethren and any of John's non masonic friends are most welcome to attend

We have arranged parking in the school grounds next door to the Lodge room.

 

Important info is that we must have either the names of brethren or the numbers from a Lodge if they intend to stay for refectory. We must have numbers for catering purposes. Names and or numbers to Neville Patrick 0275 392 273 or nevillep@compass-group.co.nz . We must have those numers by the 7th March at the latest.
